What is the Junior Developmental Program? Cobble Hills Golf and Ski Club is proud to introduce our NEW Junior Developmental Program. The mission behind the Junior Developmental Program is to promote and grow the game of Golf at a reasonable cost for children ages 6 and up. The program has been designed with fun and enjoyment of the game being the top priority. Group lessons on swing fundamental, short game and golf course etiquette will also be an important part of our program. Each week participants will be out on the golf course with supervision enjoying one hour of golf. Upon successful completion of the Junior Developmental Program, our hope is that the participants will be enthusiastic about the game of golf and continue to play the game for many years to come. When does the Junior Developmental Program run? The Junior Developmental Program will run weekly on Monday evenings from 6pm-8pm. The program will consist of group lessons from 6pm-7pm followed by one hour on the golf course with supervision from 7pm-8pm. The first session will be held on June 4th 2011 and will run through until August 20th 2011. The program will not be run on the Civic Holiday on August 1st. What is the cost of the Junior Developmental Program? We at Cobble Hills Golf and Ski Club have always been dedicated to providing our customers with the best value for dollars spent. The Junior Developmental Program is no exception to that philosophy. To join into the Junior Developmental Program there is a $20 initiation fee that must be paid prior to attending the first session. The initiation fee will include a gift certificate for a 9 hole green fee at Cobble Hills Golf and Ski Club. This is a token of our appreciation for participation in the program. Cobble Hills is and always will be committed to giving back to our valued customers and the community. The cost for participation in the program is $20 for each participant each week. This $20 fee covers the cost of the group lesson and time on the golf course.
Other Benefits Each week the Cobble Hills Restaurant will offer a Junior Developmental Program dinner special. Dinner specials will be focused on providing participants with a healthy dinner option at a reasonable rate. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the weekly special, however you may order off of our standard menu if you should choose to do so. As well in the spirit of giving back, Cobble Hills Golf Club will also extend a 10% discount on a Junior Membership for any Junior Developmental Program member. Golf teaches a lifetime of lessons and develops character. We feel from our own personal experiences this program will help the participants in their future aspirations. Each and every day we draw on our experiences and things that we have learned from the game of Golf to help us in the real world.
