  1. 9 Holes of Golf every Tuesday starting April 26th and running for 21 consecutive weeks.  The final wrap up evening is Tues, Sept. 20th. It will include a BBQ (chicken or steak) and the End of Season Prize table (dinner @ 6:30pm).

  2. Every week will be a shotgun start at 5pm (back 9) and 5:30pm (front 9), with times available until 6pm on both sides for those with time conflicts pertaining to shotgun start times.

  3. Half of the league (The Tigers) will play the front 9 the first week; the back 9 the following, while the other half of the league (The Sharks) plays the opposite nine.

  4. Front and back nine tees to be blocked off from 5:00 to 6:00 each Tuesday.  Each individual is responsible for booking their own tee times.  No groups will be allowed to tee off after 6:00, players can play earlier than 5:00, but will not be able to participate in closest to the hole, Longest Drive, Skins or weekly prize table, but your score will be entered.(EARLY PLAYERS MUST PLAY WITH ANOTHER PERSON, NOT AS A SINGLE )

  5. Hidden-hole handicap is used to determine prizes on a weekly basis.  Number of strokes over par on three hidden holes to a maximum of double par* multiplied by three determines each individuals handicap. (Player does not stop at double par, all holes must be finished) Handicap is deducted from gross score to determine net or league score.

  6. Standings for the end of season prize table will be based on each player’s 12 best net scores over the 21 week season (50% must be played during league time). End of season prize table will include only those participants who have played a minimum of 12 league rounds.

  7. Bird houses will be set up for all participants to place a tag every time they score a birdie or better on a hole, and a random draw prize will be given out at the End of Season Banquet.

  8. Weekly prize table for each nine with a value of approximately 1/2 of the money taken in for prizes that night and prizes for 10 people per side ( 1st 8 low net scores, low gross & a random draw).
  9. Balance of money from weekly prize money taken in goes to end of season prize table.

  10. Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Skins are all cash prizes.

  11. The end of season prize table is made up of $20.00 initiation and excess from weekly prize money collected.  Only those Ladies who have played 12 or more league rounds will be included in the end of season prize table.

Guests: Due to the large size of our league, guests may only be signed up on the tee off time sheet on the Friday prior to the league date they wish to play, assuming that there is room to accommodate them.

Slow Play:

To insure that all players are able to finish their round, especially as the days get shorter, we must insist that all players maintain the speed of play.  It should take no more than 2.25 hours to play nine holes of golf.  If the group you are following is more than ½ of a hole in front of you please do your best to catch up with them.
From Royal Canadian Golf Association Rules of Golf:
Rule 6-7. Undue Delay; Slow Play
The player shall play without undue delay and in accordance with any pace of play guidelines, which may be laid down by the Committee.  Between completion of a hole and playing from the next teeing ground, the player shall not unduly delay play.
Penalty for Breach of Rule 6-7: Two Strokes. For subsequent offence-Disqualification.

The marshal will be enforcing Rule 6-7 this season & may allow groups thru slower groups.
